Our Salt Saver 2 coating has a low -55 degree melting point and when combined with pure solar salt the granular deck ice melt pellets will effectively melt ice in temperatures as low as -25 degrees.

Formula doesn't Corrode - Safe on Wood and Composite Decks

Our Salt Saver 2 formula at its core is comprised of calcium magnesium acetate which is about as corrosive as normal tap water. However when combined at the proper concentration levels it can be effective in preventing ice from forming.

Because of this chemical configuration our Deck Ice Melt will not corrode or damage the surface of wood or composite decks and more importantly the hardware and brackets holding it together. Finally a product that you can safely use to melt ice on your decks without worrying about the consequences.
